Pair of oxidized Sterling Silver Brooches featuring an open-work Biomorphic design and each Pin set with a Pearl. Marked: CHAUDRON and artist’s trademark; approx. size: 1.5” x 1.5” and 1.5” x1”. A fantastic example of Canadian Bernard Chaudron; His treatment of surface is quite unique. He is a well known Modernist Jeweler. About: Bernard Chaudron started creating jewelry in the 1960's when he worked with gold, bronze, sterling silver and pewter using the lost wax process. Aside from creating some of the most spectacular works coming from Quebec at that time, he involved his wife Louise Chaudron, who was an enamelist, in the Arts and Crafts Association in Quebec.
