Vintage, stylish and decorative modernist sterling silver cigar, cigarette and/or jewelry box sleek polished surface; the box has a black leatherette base, and is fully lined with cedar wood. The side of the box is fully hallmarked with Lion passant mark for Sterling 925 Silver, corresponding to Birmingham, England, letter date: D for 1978 (also to side of lid) and Makers Mark: AC & Ss Ld for A Chick & Sons Ltd; Approx. size: 11.3cm/ 4.5inches long x 10.16cm/4 inches wide x 4.2cm/ 1.63 inches high x 9.5 cm/ 3.75 inches deep.
