Pair of artisan crafted elm wood bedside commodes each with a top drawer and double cabinet doors below, accented with brass hardware. Approx measurements: Height 23.5 inches, width 23.5 inches, depth 19 inches.There isn’t one nail that has been used in its assembly - it’s all extremely detailed dovetailed and mortise and tenon joint construction. Comes from abandoned villages north of Beijing; handcrafted by professional furniture makers in China and Hong Kong, circa 1980s.
